A full-day adventure on the Dunajec River — gliding through the dramatic Pieniny Gorge on traditional wooden rafts steered by highland raftsmen.
The Dunajec River Gorge is one of Poland's most breathtaking natural attractions — a dramatic canyon carved through the white limestone cliffs of the Pieniny Mountains. For over 200 years, traditional wooden rafts steered by colourfully dressed Góral raftsmen have carried visitors through this stunning 23-kilometre stretch of river.
Our full-day tour departs from Kraków and takes you to the launching point at Sromowce Niżne. You'll drift gently downstream between towering rocky walls, past the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle, through rapids and tranquil stretches, ending at the spa town of Szczawnica. A relaxing and visually spectacular experience suitable for all ages.
