A full-day escape to Poland's mountain capital — dramatic Tatra peaks, highland folklore and the iconic Krupówki promenade.

Zakopane and Tatra Mountains
About This Tour

Nestled at the foot of the Tatra Mountains on Poland's southern border, Zakopane is the country's winter capital and one of its most beloved destinations year-round. Known as the "gateway to the Tatras," the town is a vibrant mix of traditional Góral (highland) architecture, folk art, excellent cuisine and dramatic alpine scenery.

Our full-day private tour takes you 100 km south of Kraków for an immersive day in the mountains. Depending on the season and your preferences, you can ride the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch peak (1,987 m), hike to the stunning Morskie Oko lake, or simply stroll the famous Krupówki promenade lined with artisan stalls and highland food. Your guide will help you make the most of every moment.

  • Morskie Oko — the largest and most beautiful lake in the Tatra Mountains (optional hike)
  • Krupówki promenade — traditional wooden villas, folk-art stalls and regional smoked cheese
  • Góral highland culture, traditional music and unique Tatra architecture
